Tsum Valley Trekking

16 Days

Many people are familiar with the Manaslu Circuit Trek in the Manaslu region, but few have discovered the captivating beauty of the Tsum Valley Trekking.

Nestled amidst the mighty Himalayas, the Tsum Valley Trek offers a unique and remarkable journey, taking you through a spiritual experience that unveils the mystic traditions and beliefs of the local people.

Embark on a journey like no other with Glance Tours and Treks as we present the Tsum Valley Trek – an exploration of a newly opened trail in the northern Gorkha district. Picture this: surrounded by the breathtaking Baudha Himal, Himal Chuli, Ganesha Himal, and Sringi Himal, this valley has preserved its traditions, untouched by external influences, thanks to these majestic mountain ranges. It’s a haven for trekkers seeking an authentic cultural experience.

This trek unveils the famous Kyimo Lung, a pilgrim’s circuit in the central Trans-Himalaya, known for its centers of learning and meditation. The region holds significance in the Buddhist community, with legends of the saint Milarepa meditating in the surrounding mountain caves. Sheltered from other areas, Tsum Valley boasts a history distinct from the rest of Nepal, with ancient remains of the Tsum Kingdom still visible.

Beyond its cultural richness, the valley is a wildlife haven. Imagine encountering herds of Himalayan Thar and Blue Sheep, numbering anywhere from 50 to 200 – a sight to behold!

The Tsum Valley Trek is a unique experience, especially for those seeking to venture off the beaten tourist paths. At Glance Tours and Treks, we’re passionate about introducing you to this extraordinary region and crafting your personalized adventure.
